It is interesting to read the newspaper reports of the Will of the late Michael Winner. Despite his flamboyant boasts about his personal wealth his net estate does not appear sufficient to meet in full all the various legacies he bequeathed to his wife and previous girl friends. Whilst he left various properties ( albeit mortgaged) to each he also specified cash legacies to them as well. As there appears insufficient cash to meet all of these his Executors will have to negotiate with each beneficiary as to what their ultimate entitlement will be.
The negotiations will undoubtedly be long and costly as will the administration of his complicated Will.
It looks as though Michael was the Winner whilst he was alive but who will be the Winner now he is deceased?
